KATALYST FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

Dear Students, Schools and Community Partners:

 The Katalyst Foundation, a non-profit organization that assists at-risk youths and families, will award tuition assistance scholarships for the 2017-18 academic year. Graduating male seniors who plan to enroll in college for the fall 2017 should apply. Katalyst, established in 2014, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports community service endeavors in Northwest Arkansas on behalf of the Fayetteville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

Applicants must meet the following requirements by April 21, 2017:

✓    Complete and return the attached application (Section A)
✓    Submit an essay that addresses the application questions (Section B)
✓    Submit one recommendation letter from a teacher, counselor or church leader.
✓    Submit a high school transcript and/or last report card.

It is important that all requirements be met by the due date of April 21, 2017.

Scholarship recipients will be contacted at the phone numbers and e-mail addresses provided on the application.

To formally acknowledge the achievements of the winners, including this scholarship, the Katalyst Foundation will invite the recipients and their family to a presentation that publicly acknowledges the students’ achievement.
